Stylish IEs from B&O are wireless, too

Bang & Olufsen’s new, stylish BeoPlay E6 in-ear headphones link wireless convenience and customisable comfort to slick styling and sophisticated tech.

Designed for active lifestyles, the E6’s link a smart appearance to a rugged execution that includes a braided connecting cord, while the housings are constructed from polymer and textured rubber, making them moisture and dust resistant.

Inside each housing is a 6,4 mm electro-dynamic transducer, achieving a claimed sensitivity of 113 dB SPL @ 1 kHz. Impedance is rated at an easy-to-drive 16 ohms.

The E6 comes with an extensive choice of silicone ear tips and ear fins in various sizes to ensure a snug fit, while the dual 50 MAh batteries offer up to five hours of playing time. Charging time is two hours, but the E6s can also be charged while in use.

Cleverly, the E6 can be worn around the neck when not being use, thanks to magnets in the earbuds that can be clicked together. This also switchesd off operation to save power.

The E6 is Bluetooth 4.2 compliant and uses the AAC codec. Weight is just 21 grams.
