The latest loudspeaker range from Sonus faber has arrived in South Africa.
The Sonetto line-up made its world debut at the High End expo in Munich in May, and combines the craftsmanship and attention to detail the Italian marque has become famous for, while also representing strong value, the company claims.
Designed, developed and manufactured in Italy, the Sonetto range consists of eight models, spanning bookshelf, floorstanding, centre and on-wall variants. They’re suitable for both stereo and multi-channel home theatre applications.
More importantly, the Sonettos aren’t budget speakers as far as finishes, technology and performance are concerned. They feature Sonus faber’s trademark leather top panels, as well as the company’s latest Damped Apex Dome (DAD) tweeter.
The lute-shaped enclosures employ natural wood and gunmetal grey aluminium accents. Solid aluminium is used for all hardware, while the reflex ports are downward-firing to allow for more flexible positioning.
The Sonettos are offered in matte white, piano gloss black and natural wood finishes.
