Scottish cable specialist Atlas has extended its high-end Mavros range with the introduction of the Mavros Grun USB cable. The design objective was to minimise reflective losses in high-speed USB transmissions.
This, the company claims, has been achieved through improved termination, high-purity conductors and more effective screening, allowing enhanced per-length consistency and better fidelity.
Key features of the new cable include OCC copper data and power conductors in a foamed polyethylene dielectric, together with individual conductor screening.
As the name suggests, the USB cable also features an external Grun connection, designed to route all interference to ground, while the connectors are gold-plated.
